Miami Bath Design-Concept
A full bathroom redesign concept rooted in quiet drama. Venetian plaster walls in sage green create an immersive, organic backdrop for an arched walk-in shower clad in marble. Warm wood, brushed brass, and penny tile flooring bring texture and warmth to every surface. This space was designed to feel like a retreat — unhurried, considered, and unmistakably personal.
The concept leans into saturated plaster, living stone, and warm brass — a bathroom that feels like it was grown, not built. Unhurried, it asks nothing of you except that you stay a little longer.

Construction Documents
Detailed construction drawings are created on the Construction Documentation Phase, in order to communicate design intent to contractors/installers/vendors.

Material Selection
Materials and finishes are selected in the Concept Design Phase. In the case of this bath design, natural stone tiles in a warm veining was the best option to complement the color palette.

Wall treatment
In a small bath, the walls are everything. Microcement was chosen for its ability to deliver the depth and movement of Venetian plaster while remaining completely waterproof — beauty that doesn't ask for compromise.

Finishes
Brushed bronze was the only finish that made sense here — warm enough to speak to the wood, grounded enough to hold its own against the green. Hardware is never an afterthought at Studio Toro.
